After a horrendous experience with another back office company, we decided to give Advance Partners a try. It turned out to be a fantastic decision! Everyone is very fast to respond and friendly. Credit Analyst Nancy Imes is the most helpful and pleasant person we work with, and that includes all of our vendors and partners. She is always super responsive and kind. We have had some difficult conversations in the past about write-offs (that were our fault) but she explained everything completely, and was professional and empathetic. She and the team at Advance Partners are doing an excellent job for us!

Unfortunately, our experience with Advance Partners seems to be a classic case of bait and switch. For any healthcare staffing firm considering working with them, I strongly advise proceeding with extreme caution.
When we first engaged with Advance Partners, we were assured that their funding processes would be efficient, transparent, and tailored to our specific needs. This included daily sweeps of invoices in the VMS, same day purchasing of invoices upon funding, timely and accurate cash applications, and seamless posting. However, we are now facing significant delays and inefficiencies—none of which were disclosed during the initial vetting or procurement stages.
These issues have directly impacted on our ability to manage cash flow and forecast payments in line with our clients' payments weekly schedules. Perhaps most frustrating is the introduction of credit memos, which Advance Partners conveniently failed to mention up front. These memos affect the weekly 10% reserve release, delaying the availability of funds and making financial planning uncertain. The reporting process is equally convoluted, as these credit memos are counted toward the total invoice purchases, inflating their reported figures and distorting the reality of our funding and reporting.
What’s worse, we have outstanding credit memos from invoices approved over a month ago that are still holding up our cash flow. This is a direct result of Advance Partners' internal processes, which are nowhere near what was promised during the sales pitch. Initially, we experienced clear communication, accurate funding, and a sense of partnership. But in the last few months, it has spiraled into a frustrating cycle of unexplained overfunds, reserve refunds calculated by an equation no one can explain, process changes, and unresolved credit memo issues that we never agreed to in the first place. The requested funding packets we provide them every week, usually doesn’t align with what they are funding or actually purchasing each week
For any firm looking to scale, be aware that Advance Partners seems more interested in implementing their own processes rather than listening to and adapting to your business needs. Despite their claims of innovation and customization, as advertised on platforms like LinkedIn, they have consistently failed to deliver on those promises.

I wanted to take a moment and applaud our company's appointed Credit Analyst. We so often take out the time to leave negative reviews when we're displeased, but I did want to sing her praises.
Melissa is very easy to work with in a complicated industry. Working with such a large company such as Advance Partners can be intimidating at times, but whether good or bad news Melissa is always easy to work alongside.
She is very communicative. All updates are clear, prompt, and precise!
